BANMOD General Settings
This section explains the main general settings of the mod. As with the menus, the most intuitive options or options that do not require TXT explanations have been omitted.

Host Section
GameMode: sets the game mode.

The BanMod mode enables the full custom role system. If you want to use only some roles or keep a setup closer to the base game, choose Default mode.

Preset: allows you to use customizable presets through JSON files.

Preset folder:
Among Us\BAN_DATA\PRESET

AntiOverload Ban: bans cheaters who try to attack using overload.

This only works if you are the player being attacked.

T Command: if enabled, when typed in chat it shows the text configured in:
BAN_DATA\TEMPLATE\WelcomeTemplateInfo.txt

Welcome Message: if enabled, when a player joins the lobby it sends the text configured in:
BAN_DATA\TEMPLATE\WelcomeTemplate.txt

Note:
The message is sent only once per session. It may cause a small chat delay.

SpecialVote: enables the special command linked to /bm.

VIP players can vote instead of typing /bm color, directly choosing the target player with their vote.

Limit:
Works only during the first 15 seconds of the voting phase. The /bm command remains available.

MaxScan: controls how many players can receive the scan task.

The value -1 uses the default behavior. If you set 2, only 2 players out of 15 can receive scan.

General
Autostart: automatically starts the match when the selected player threshold is reached.

AutoRejoin: automatically rejoins the lobby at the end of a match without pressing any button.

Autovote: if you are detected as AFK during a meeting, your vote is skipped automatically.

Roles
HostProtection Round 1: protects the host until the first meeting.

This is mainly useful to let the host send messages or manage the match when custom roles are enabled.

Recommendation:
If there are other players with the mod, it is recommended to disable this option.

Protect First Player: protects until the first meeting the player who died first in the previous match.

Useful if you notice repeated targeting against a specific player, for example when the same player is killed first in multiple consecutive games.

Kick and Ban
AFK: checks players who do not move for the selected amount of time.

Depending on the settings, the player can be protected or kicked.

Follow / Team: checks players who stay too close to each other for too long.

Depending on the settings, players can be warned or kicked.

CamStation: includes two similar controls with different purposes.

Camera task check:
  • Warns or kicks a player who stays on cameras without completing enough tasks.
  • If the player is an Impostor, the check can use global Crewmate task progress or the Impostor's kill count, depending on the settings.

Camera crowd control:
  • Warns or kicks one or more players who stay too long in the camera area.
  • Helps limit crowding in Security or camera zones.
  • Prevents situations where the game becomes impossible for the Impostor.
