Rules

* Use BANMOD responsibly and do not ruin the experience of other players.

* Do not use the mod, forks or modified builds to gain unfair advantages, disrupt public games, harass users or bypass moderation systems.

* Do not distribute harmful files, cheats, malware, altered versions or packages from untrusted sources.

* Do not present personal builds, modified DLLs or forks as official BANMOD versions.

* Do not share test DLLs, modified builds or unauthorized versions in official BANMOD spaces.

* The official BANMOD build will not work when cheat menus are installed alongside it.

* Developers may compile their own DLL without the API calls to the official BANMOD servers. This prevents the custom build from being disabled, but premium features and all services requiring the official servers will not be available.

* Modified DLLs must not send requests to the official BANMOD servers.

* API requests sent to the official servers by an unauthorized or modified DLL may result in the permanent blocking of the associated friend code and IP address.

* A server-side block may remain active even after reinstalling an official BANMOD DLL.

* The same restrictions apply to developers, forks and derivative builds. Official BANMOD servers are intended exclusively for authorized official DLLs.

* Forks and custom builds may still function without the optional server-based and premium features.

* For public code, comply with GNU GPL v3.0: preserve license notices, provide proper attribution and meet source-code obligations when distributing derivative versions.

* Private or premium features distributed separately are not automatically covered by the public-code license and must be used under their applicable terms.

* Download or verify published versions through the GitHub repository and the Releases page.

* Users remain responsible for their actions, installed files and use of the mod.
